The real estate market in Whistler continues to show an increase in sales. August was vert busy with 90 total sales transactions, close to $68 million for total dollar volume, that is a 33% increase when compared to August 2015. June 18 – October 10 – Art Exhibit: Masterworks from the Beaverbrook Art Gallery – Audain Art Museum – Head over to the Audain Art Museum for the newest art exhibit. Masterworks from the Beaverbrook Art Gallery was initiated to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Beaverbrook Art Gallery in 2009. September 23 – September 25 – BC Summer Biathlon Championships – Whistler Olympic Park, Callaghan Valley – The Whistler Biathlon Society will be hosting the 2016 BC Summer Biathlon Championships at Whistler Olympic Park. September 24th,2016 – Sea to Sky All British Rally – Whistler Olympic Plaza | Time: 11:30 AM – 4:00 PM – This fun day gives participants the opportunity to drive one of the world’s most scenic roads, the Sea-to-Sky Highway from Vancouver to Whistler, where the cars will be displayed in Whistler Olympic Plaza for all to see. September 25 – Escape Route Presents The Rubble Creek Classic Run – Cheakamus Lake Trail | Time: 8:00 AM – Going back to 1985, the Rubble Creek Classic is one of the Sea2Sky’s oldest running events. Runners have been using this run through the beautiful Garibaldi Provincial Park as an annual rite of passage to finish off the season. October 15 – Whistler 50 Relay and Ultra Marathon – Whistler Valley Trail – This 8-person, 50 mile relay race or solo ultra-marathon is centred around Whistler Village and the winding Valley Trail system.
